🌿 Spring Spirits & Schedule Shifts: Your April Yoga Update

April showers bring May flowers, but this month they also bring some exciting new rhythms to our practice! In this edition, we’re sharing a schedule update for our weekend sessions, a bittersweet farewell to a teaching partner, and the return of a seasonal favorite at the Botanic Garden.


🗓️ Schedule Change: Yoga on Tap is Moving!

After much reflection, we are moving our Yoga on Tap class to Sunday mornings at 10:00 am.

This shift allows me to better balance my life as both a teacher and a dedicated member of the Park Run community. As many of you know, the Saturday morning overlap made it difficult for me to volunteer and participate—and let's be honest, those "rowdy" runners (myself included!) could get a little noisy during our savasana!

By moving to Sundays, we gain a quieter atmosphere and open the doors for fellow yogis who had Saturday morning conflicts. Same great flow, just a more peaceful Sunday vibe.

🧘 A Note on our Teaching Team

Our yoga journey at Picaroon’s has been a collaborative one. For the past two years, I’ve had the pleasure of sharing the mat with the wonderful Lauren York.

Lauren has decided to step away from Yoga on Tap to focus on her personal life balance. While she will still be teaching her weekday classes at other studios (and will hopefully pop in to see us as a student!), I will be taking over the Sunday sessions full-time. We are so grateful for the joy, energy, and wisdom she brought to our community. We wish her nothing but the best!


🌸 Yoga at the Botanic Garden is Back!

I am thrilled to announce that I’ll be returning to the Fredericton Botanic Garden this year! We’re going bigger and better for 2026, with sessions running from May through October.

Join me on Thursday nights for Flow Yoga. It’s a beautiful way to unwind midweek, surrounded by fresh air and the natural beauty of the gardens. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a total beginner, this space is for you.

Registration is now open! Spots fill up quickly, so be sure to claim yours soon.

Looking for a mid-week boost? We have a few spots available for our Calm and Strong sessions at the Brookside Wellness Center.

These classes are designed to build resilience in both body and mind, providing the perfect balance of effort and ease to carry you through the rest of your week.
